For the whole family, light and healthy. Typical of the Brittany area, it has one main ingredient, buckwheat.

Ingredients for making Galette for 4 persons

200 g buckwheat flour

800 ml cold water

5 eggs

2 cloves garlic

300 g mushrooms

150 g spinach

100 g cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

1 courgette

250 gr of fried tomato

Olive oil

Cooking steps for Galette

First step

Let's start with the base. Mix the flour with an egg, the water and a teaspoon of salt. You can use a mixer to make it more homogeneous. Then leave to rest for 1.5 to 2 hours.

Second step

While we let it rest, we continue with the stuffing. Sauté the chopped garlic cloves with the sliced mushrooms. When cooked, add the spinach. The spinach is cooked very quickly. Once everything is cooked, set aside for later.

Third step

The base: prepare a frying pan (if you have a crepe pan, perfect) and turn the heat to medium. Spread olive oil evenly (with a piece of paper or a skewer) and cover the base with the mixture we prepared in step 1.

Step 4

As soon as holes start to appear in the dough, carefully turn it over and start filling it with the mixture from point 2. Add grated cheese and then an egg (you can help yourself with a small glass).

Fifth step

Fold the sides of the base to make a square without covering the top, as shown in the photo.

Last step

Let the egg cook with the heat.

Enjoy!

It is an easy, healthy and delicious recipe. Perfect for the little ones to eat vegetables of all kinds. You can also adapt the filling to your taste by adding onion, pepper, minced meat, etc.

Don't forget to follow us in our social networks to keep up to date with the latest news about Lycée français Molière Saragossa.

Hoy tenemos para vosotros una receta sencilla pero deliciosa: GALETTE.
