Mar, 2015
Eliane, Olaya, Jorge, Alberto (from 2nd Baccalaureate), Blanca, Anayet, Pedro and Juan (from 1st Baccalaureate), have just returned from Madrid, where NUMAD (Nations Unies Madrid), a simulation of the United Nations General Assembly, was held with the aim of getting students to debate global problems. Over three days, various commissions are organised and meet to debate. Each pupil takes on a role: delegates, ambassadors, secretaries-general, committee chairmen or journalists. The 8 students from the Lycée shared these days with 200 other students, expressing themselves in French and English and discussing ecology, economics or gay rights in the world. We summarise the trip in this video. http://youtu.be/JmH4PJu8uG0
