A tale of all colours at the Molière marmothèque 12 December 2013 Beyond the lessons and playtime, our Maternelle pupils also get to know a small library called “Marmothèque” where they not only listen to stories. On this occasion, the pupils of the first year of Infant Education have learnt to introduce themselves and the names of the colours in French. And all this through a story coloured, told and represented with a puppet. Read
Food Bank collection campaign 12 December 2013 This week we have participated in the Food Bank collection campaign. On Monday and Tuesday we have been collecting everything that the students have brought us, especially non-perishable products such as rice, dried vegetables, sugar, flour, pasta, oil, milk, nuts, sultanas and canned food. Once collected, they will be distributed free of charge to assisted centres in Zaragoza and throughout Aragon, from where they can be distributed to those most in need. Read
Primary school children's art exhibition 12 December 2013 The corridors of the primary school are not only displaying their pupils' coats. These days, these same walls are used to hang their interpretations of the works of three contemporary artists: Piet Mondrian, Kandinsky and Keith Haring. They have created the colourful pop movement of Haring's figures, the geometric abstraction of Mondrian, and the musical geometry of Kandinsky. Read
French postcard competition in the press 02 December 2013 El Periódico de Aragón has echoed our competition of postcards to congratulate the year in French and published last Saturday, 23rd November, a news item about our proposal, addressed this year to our students of CP and CE1 (1st and 2nd Primary Education). Remember that this year we will have the presence of the renowned French writer Véronique Le Normand. Read
Visit to the exhibition «Zaragoza map by map».» 02 December 2013 The CE2 students (3rd year of Primary Education) have returned from their visit to the Exhibition ‘Zaragoza map by map: services at your side’, at the Ebro Environmental Centre. There they learnt how to read a map, studied where the most inhabitants used to live, took a tour of the geographical evolution of Zaragoza and interacted with the streets and emblematic places of their city. They will no longer be afraid if they have to interpret or explain a map to their elders. Read
