Did you know what is the most famous Carnival in France? As in Spain it is the Canary Islands Carnival, there it is the Nice Carnival, The most well-known and popular celebration for the French.
They are celebrating with the famous flower battles, or by bringing to the streets fantastic allegorical floats every year to different parts of the world and cultures of present and past times, e.g. cowboy times, the conquest of space, etc.
This tradition was born in 1873 on the initiative of Saëtone Andriot. 141 years later, it is still celebrated in the same spirit. In fact, for this year's Carnival theme will be “King of gastronomy”.”.
